Cancellation by D-Day Boat Tours

The Company makes every effort to operate its tours. If navigation safety conditions are not met, it may cancel the tour in full. Any tour fully cancelled by the Company is postponed to a later date no later than 31 December of the same year.

No additional compensation or refund is due for cancellation or itinerary, timetable or duration changes caused by force majeure, including adverse weather, strong winds, frost, heatwave, extreme conditions, administrative restrictions, terrorism, demonstrations, mechanical issues or circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.

Cancellation by an individual customer

In accordance with article L 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, customers do not have a right of withdrawal.

A booking made on the website can be cancelled using the booking email, by email at [email protected] or by phone at +33 6 73 51 28 38.

• Full refund if cancellation is made at least 5 days before the tour, minus a €2 refund transaction fee.
• 50% refund if cancellation is made between 5 days and 48 hours before the tour, minus a €2 refund transaction fee.
• No refund if cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the tour.

For purchases made through third-party websites or resellers, their own cancellation policies apply.

Cancellation of a booking does not trigger an automatic refund. Refund requests must be sent to [email protected] or made by phone at +33 6 73 51 28 38.

Cancellation by a group customer

For group customers or private groups of 20 people or more, a tour can be cancelled free of charge if cancellation is made 21 days before the date stated in the approved quote.

If cancellation is made between 21 days and 72 hours before the tour, 50% of the total tour price is retained. The full tour price is due for any cancellation made 72 hours or less before the start of the tour.
